Badri Narayanan has extensive work experience in the field of welding consumables and materials science. Badri currently serves as the VP of Global Consumables at Lincoln Electric, a position they started in March 2021. Additionally, Badri served as a Graduate Teaching Associate at Ohio State University from January 1998 to January 1999. In this role, they taught undergraduate laboratory courses on materials and microstructure characterization, as well as a class on Thermodynamics of Materials.

Badri Narayanan completed their education with a BSc. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Ranchi University between 1992 and 1996. Badri then pursued an M.S degree in Materials Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University from 1997 to 2000. Later, they completed their Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University between 2006 and 2009.
