Badri Narayanan has extensive work experience in the field of welding consumables and materials science. Additionally, Badri served as a Graduate Teaching Associate at Ohio State University from January 1998 to January 1999. In this role, they taught undergraduate laboratory courses on materials and microstructure characterization, as well as a class on Thermodynamics of Materials.

Badri Narayanan completed their education with a BSc. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Ranchi University between 1992 and 1996. Later, they completed their Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University between 2006 and 2009.
