Alex Barnes

Alex Barnes is an accomplished IT security professional with extensive experience in information security. Currently serving as Manager of IT Security at Lincoln Financial Group since April 2019, Alex has previously held roles as a Senior Information Security Analyst and Information Security Analyst within the same organization, focusing on corporate security device monitoring, policy development, and implementing new security solutions. Prior to Lincoln Financial Group, Alex served as an Administrative Assistant at Ball State University, managing student records and conducting security audits, and completed an internship at Professional Federal Credit Union, where helpdesk support was provided. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Ball State University, specializing in Networking, Security, and Database.
