Jared Mader has an extensive work experience in the field of educational technology. Jared began their career as a Chemistry Teacher at Red Lion Area Schools in 1999 and taught for eight years. In 2007, they transitioned to become an Educational Technology Consultant with EdTechInnovators, LLC. Jared later took on the role of Director of Technology for the Red Lion Area School District, where they led technology integration professional development initiatives for four years. Since 2013, Jared has been serving as the Director of Educational Technology for the Lincoln Intermediate Unit #12, where they continue to lead technology integration initiatives and is a member of the Discovery Educator Network.
Jared Mader earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, General Science, and Secondary Education from Grove City College in 1998. Jared then obtained a Master of Education degree in Instructional Systems - Educational Technology from Penn State University in 2010. In addition to their degrees, they hold certifications in K-12 Administration and a Superintendents Letter of Eligibility from PennWest California. Jared also has additional certifications including being an Apple Education Trainer, an ISTE Educator Certification and Trainer, an Instructional Technology Specialist Certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and a K-12 Principal Certification.
