Chris Shovlin has worked in various roles throughout their career. Chris started in 1976 as an On-Air Personality at WMBA-AM (Bride Broadcasting) and later became the Vice President & General Manager at WBVP-AM / WWKS-FM - Hall Communications. In 1981, they co-hosted and produced the Bob Prince-Gunner Network Sports Talk Show. Chris also served as an Instructor at Geneva College in 1982. Chris then joined Renda Broadcasting - WSHH-FM Pittsburgh as the Co-Host of the "Cris & Chris In The Morning" show and Director of Marketing & Promotion. In 1987, they began their role as the Play-By-Play Voice of the RMU Colonials at Robert Morris University.
Chris joined Comcast in 1988 as a Play-By-Play Announcer for high school football and basketball games. Chris worked there until 2017. Chris then worked as the Director of Development - Western Region at Special Olympics Pennsylvania from 1992 to 1995.
In 2015, Chris became the Chief Executive Officer at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center. Chris currently serves as the Spokesperson for the Planning Committee at Midland Innovation + Technology Charter School since 2019.
Chris Shovlin completed their academic education at Midland - Lincoln High School (PA) from 1968 to 1972. Chris then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech & Drama at Westminster College (PA) from 1972 to 1976.
