Dana Murphy is a seasoned professional in the field of education and community engagement within zoological settings, currently serving as Vice President for Learning and Community Engagement at Lincoln Park Zoo since August 2015. Previously, Dana held similar leadership roles at Denver Zoo and Friends of the Chicago River, focusing on education initiatives and organizational development. With a strong background at Brookfield Zoo, Dana managed Conservation Leadership programs and developed diverse engagement opportunities, in addition to significant roles in youth programming and exhibit interpretation. Dana possesses a B.Sc. in Ecology Ethology and Evolution from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction-Science Education from National Louis University.
