Thomas Etter

Thomas Etter is an expert in materials and materials processing with extensive experience in the development and characterization of nickel-based superalloys, particularly in additive manufacturing. Currently a Senior Engineer at Lincotek since January 2020, Thomas previously held similar senior engineering roles at Turbocoating and as Principal Engineer at GE Power, where responsibilities included leading technical projects in additive metallic materials. At Alstom Power, Thomas served as an Expert and Senior Scientist, overseeing projects on additive materials development and leading teams focusing on nickel-alloy optimization. Thomas also contributed to academia as a Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zürich, holding a PhD and Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the same institution.
