Thomas Axelsen

Thomas Axelsen has extensive work experience in the IT field. Thomas started their career as a Trainee and IT-Supporter at Haderslev Kommune from 1995 to 1999. Then, they joined Lindab Danmark as an IS/IT project manager from 2014 to 2015, handling ERP rollout and new groupwide intranet platform projects. Thomas was later promoted to IT-Manager at Lindab Danmark from 1999 to 2017. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Project and program manager at Lindab Danmark, managing various projects including ERP rollout and integration of acquired technology. Thomas'smost recent role at Lindab Danmark was as Digitaliseringschef / Head of Digital, where they were responsible for the company's digital journey, implementing digital strategies and overseeing projects such as migrating to cloud-based systems and introducing RPA based on UiPath. In 2018, they also served as a Rytter at Team Rynkeby Foundation.

Thomas Axelsen began their education at Haderslev Handelskole from 1992 to 1995, where they studied Economics and obtained a HHX degree. Thomas then pursued further education at Haderslev Handelsskole from 1995 to 1998, specializing in Economics with a degree in Merkonom Rengskabsvæsen (Accounting). In 2010, Thomas obtained a certification as an NLP practitioner from Communication Skills. Later, in 2012-2013, they attended Probana and completed a Mini MBA program, focusing on Business Administration and Management.
