R. Perry Monastero, Ed.D. is the Principal of the nonprofit advisory firm RPM Consulting Group and an affiliate Senior Advisor with Lindauer. A respected executive and consultant in the nonprofit arena, Perry’s considerable expertise includes strategic planning and marketplace analysis, research and evaluation, branding, advancement and philanthropic services, and higher education enrollment management.

Perry and his RPM team assist nonprofit leaders of rapidly growing organizations to simultaneously scale their infrastructure while identifying and securing new revenue streams to boost sustainability. He brings over two decades of leadership experience with an emphasis on education, health care, philanthropy, and LGBTQ organizations. He has assisted with co-designing and/or implementing the search process for the College Football Hall of Fame, The Reflect Organization, the Independence Business Alliance, and The Trevor Project.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with an Ed.D. in Management of Higher Education, Perry’s research focused on how entrepreneurial social justice movements and their associated public and private entities successfully entered competitive marketplaces to support innovation and change. Originally from Norristown, Pennsylvania, Perry lives with his partner in Boston and Philadelphia. Both are loving godparents, and Perry is a nerdy, retired traveling soccer midfielder who might arguably cook the absolute best Spanish paella.
