In 2008, they joined Quark Expeditions where they held various roles, including Sales & Client Services, Business Development Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Interim Regional Sales Director. Cara'stenure at Quark Expeditions lasted until 2023. Currently, they are working at Lindblad Expeditions as a Regional Sales Director starting from 2023.
Cara Matthew obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and English Literature from The University of British Columbia, from 1999 to 2003.
