Manfred Binder

Manfred Binder is a seasoned network engineer currently working at Linde Engineering since May 2021, where the focus is on implementing Netbox as a source of truth for Software-Defined Networking Data Centers based on Cisco ACI. Prior to this role, Manfred served as Referatsleiter Basisdienste at Universität Passau from May 2019 to April 2021, managing infrastructure services including campus and data center networks. Manfred's extensive experience also includes a 13-year tenure at The Linde Group as a network administrator, overseeing network design, installation, and troubleshooting in Germany. Earlier in the career, Manfred worked as a network designer and systems/solutions architect at IZB München-Frankfurt a. M. GmbH & Co. KG, where responsibilities included planning and implementing complex network solutions, notably a worldwide VPN based on IPSec for BayernLB. Manfred holds a diploma in physics from the University of Bayreuth, awarded between 1990 and 1997.
