Adrona Betts

Adrona Betts has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2002. Adrona began their career as a Backend Development Engineer at Tencent, where they were responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's website, as well as implementation and testing. In 2010, they joined Linden Lab as a Software Engineer. Adrona then progressed to Engineering Manager, where they helped launch Tilia, Inc as a business, and maintained communication with internal stakeholders. Adrona then became Team Lead, Extraction, working with their team to develop golang REST apis, and creating a stakeholders meeting to help keep various internal stakeholders apprised of progress and priorities. In 2014, Betts was promoted to Senior Engineering Manager, and then to Metaverse Senior Engineering Manager. In 2015, they became an Angel Investor, actively participating in the strategic decision making and strategy design of the investee company, providing consulting services, and helping to recruit management personnel for portfolio companies.

Adrona Betts obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Science from Xiamen University between 1998 and 2002. Adrona then went on to pursue a Master of International Business, Infrastructure Finance, with a Major in Mathematics and Computational Finance from Columbia University between 2006 and 2008.
