Kurt Stauffacher

Kurt Stauffacher has over 20 years of work experience in a variety of roles. In 2009, they were a Senior QA Engineer and QA Engineer at Linden Lab. In 2008, they were a Technical Advisor at CentriHost.com, where they consulted with clients on technical issues, collaborated with internal web developers and PHP programmers, and configured, tested, and deployed HSPcomplete. From 1999 to 2008, they were Vice President/General Manager at Cedant Web Hosting (later Aplus.net), where they directed and managed day-to-day operations, initiated and implemented business strategies, and conducted personnel functions. From 1998 to 1999, they were a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist at the California Resources Agency, CA Environmental Resources Evaluation System. There, they worked on a NASA grant to create better emergency management tools and collaborated with various agencies to gather, organize, and update data. From 1995 to 1998, they were Water Resources Assistant/Web Development at the County of Lake, Lakeport CA, where they collaborated with the project team and local/federal agencies on a grant to analyze the effects of sediment runoff and unwelcome algae growth in Clear Lake, and introduced and utilized Geographic Information Systems tools.

Kurt Stauffacher completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1993. Kurt then went on to pursue a Masters of Science in Environmental Science from Indiana University Bloomington, which they completed in 1995.
