Richard Jacobs

Richard Jacobs has extensive experience in the IT field. Richard began their career in 2000 as a Senior Systems Administrator at ABD Insurance and Financial Services, where they installed, maintained and monitored IT systems at both datacenter and remote sites. In 2008, they moved to Wells Fargo Insurance Services as an Operations Systems Engineer 5, where they monitored and maintained legacy ABD systems. In 2014, they joined Cisco as a Systems Administrator, where they supported Cisco, Ixia networking technologies, and other technologies. Since 2015, they have been working as a Network Engineer at Linden Lab, providing network and systems support for the office in San Francisco and WAN. Richard has been involved in major projects such as Active Directory install in AWS, ISP cutovers, CPPM 802.1x onboarding, Fortinet Security Fabric, and VPN SSO with Google Auth SAML.

Richard Jacobs attended San Jose State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology/Technician.
