Kristian Abel

Kristian Abel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as a Board Member at Lindholmen Science Park and part of the Advisory Board at FFI since June 2020. Since October 1990, Kristian has held various leadership roles at Volvo Cars, including VP and Head of Vehicle Engineering and Sr. Director Vehicle Line, overseeing complete vehicle functions, teams, and launches. Additionally, Kristian has served as Program Manager for Body Engineering, managing teams during vehicle launches. Kristian holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, completed between 1986 and 1990.
