Maria Backne is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and controlling. Currently serving as a Projektcontroller and previously as a Redovisningsekonom at Lindholmen Science Park AB since April 2017, Maria has a strong background in bookkeeping, controlling, and payroll administration. Prior roles include a Consultant position at Experis from June 2010 to April 2017, and a Redovisningsansvarig at MSC Software, where Maria managed bookkeeping and payroll for 12 staff members, including annual closures and reports. Additional experience includes responsibilities in accounting and controlling at Straumann, reporting directly to the finance manager and headquarters in Germany, and serving as a Redovisningsansvarig at Sharp Electronics, where Maria was integral in implementing SAP following an acquisition. Maria holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Economics from Södertörn University, earned between 2002 and 2005.

Lindholmen Science Park is a national resource for independent research and innovation.
