Brian Magnusson's work experience includes various leadership roles in prominent companies. Brian served as the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Lindsay Corporation, where they also held the position of Vice President/General Manager for the Americas. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Technology & Innovation and also the Vice President/General Manager of the Irrigation Technology Products business unit at Lindsay Corporation. Before joining Lindsay Corporation, Brian Magnusson worked as the Director of Global Tractor Product Category Management and Agricultural Product Portfolio Strategy at CNH Industrial. Brian has also worked at Bain & Company as a Case Team Leader and Consultant, and at Marakon Associates as a Summer Consultant. Brian began their career at Burns & McDonnell, where they served in various positions including mechanical engineer, engineering manager, and project manager. Additionally, Brian Magnusson gained experience as a Sales & Marketing Intern at American Cyanamid. Brian was also a member of the Board of Directors for the Creating Captains Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on character building and skills training for student athletes.
Brian Magnusson has a diverse education history. Brian obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering, with an emphasis in Machine Design Engineering, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the period 1997-2001. In 2000, they also participated in a study abroad program at the University of Oxford, focusing on International Economics.
Afterward, they pursued further education at Harvard Business School, earning a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) specializing in General Management from 2006 to 2008.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Brian Magnusson obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the State of Missouri in July 2006.
