Maria Fairchild has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Maria started their career as a Manager in International Corporate Affairs at Walmart, where they managed media, government, and community relations support for multiple countries. Maria then worked as an Office Manager at Diversified Retail Solutions, where they handled office management and bookkeeping duties. Maria then joined Lindsey and Associates, where they served as a Sr. Vice President, Realtor. In this role, they managed the relocation of executives and worked closely with global relocation companies and top employers. Maria also collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth closing process. Maria later joined the U.S. Department of Commerce in 2019 as a Census Field Manager and Project Manager for the Non-Response Follow-Up phase of the 2020 Census. Maria successfully managed a team of 400 individuals and achieved outstanding results. Maria's earlier work experience includes serving as an Official Spokesperson and Public Relations Representative at The Walt Disney Company, where they represented Walt Disney World and its cast members in media relations and community events. Maria also worked as a Recruiter and Casting professional during their time at Disney.
Maria Fairchild holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez. Maria also obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the same university.
In terms of additional certifications, Maria Fairchild obtained a Certified Executive Coach certification from SERVE2PERFORM in April 2023. Maria also holds certifications in Prohibited Practices for the 2020 Census and Telework from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration, which they obtained in December 2019. Furthermore, Maria obtained an AR Real Estate License from the Arkansas Real Estate Commission in November 2007. Finally, Maria Fairchild is also certified to do Employee Relocations with Sirva, Cap Relo, Graebel, Brookfields, although the institution and specific dates for this certification were not provided.
