Duane Bonifer

Duane Bonifer currently serves as the Assistant to the President at Lindsey Wilson College, overseeing the institution's communications, government relations, marketing, and public relations efforts since November 2024. Previously, Bonifer held various prominent roles at Monmouth College, including Associate Vice President of Communications and Marketing and Executive Director of Communications and Marketing, from April 2016 to December 2024, where responsibilities included directing the college's communications and marketing initiatives. Earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Public Relations at Lindsey Wilson College from October 1995 to April 2016, acting as the college's chief information officer and brand manager. Additionally, Bonifer was the Chair of the Board for Kentucky Kernel Press Inc. from 1996 to 2014 and served as News Editor at the Journal and Courier from 1993 to 1996. Educational credentials include a MA in Communication from Bellarmine University (2008-2012) and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Kentucky (1986-1991).
