Mustafa Akkaya, Founder & Lighting Designer at LINE LIGHTING DESIGN since May 2021, has an extensive portfolio of architectural lighting design projects in Turkey, Qatar, and beyond. Prior to this role, Mustafa served as the Design Director & Senior Lighting Designer at ZKLD LIGHT DESIGN STUDIO, showcasing their expertise in various projects such as hotels, residences, commercial spaces, and historical restorations. With a Master of Arts in Architectural Lighting Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Mustafa also shares their knowledge as a Lecturer at Kadir Has University.

Line is an independent architectural lighting design & consultancy company based in İstanbul with a branch also in Antalya. We bring a new line to your life by shaping the atmosphere of space which you live, with our creative and passionate team on lighting design field with different architectural and technical backgrounds. Our main goal is to harmonize the role natural and artificial lighting play in revealing the built environment besides creating aesthetical and attractive spaces for everyone by using the power of light whilst dealing with functional and comfortable issues. This awareness emerges in the way our design team consciously plays with the relationship of light and shadow, resulting in spaces that are made both more active and accessible through the use of light.
