Jasmeet Singh

Jasmeet Singh, FRM has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jasmeet began their career as a JRA at Gridstone Research in 2007, and then proceeded to work as an Associate at Morgan Stanley where they conducted research and analysis on crude oil and natural gas. Jasmeet later joined Sutherland Global Services as a Research Analyst, where they developed financial models and prepared reports for global equities.

In 2012, Jasmeet became a Senior Consultant at Investance, where they played a crucial role in setting up the research desk in India. Jasmeet prepared detailed financial models and conducted forensic accounting studies to analyze the quality of firm earnings. Following this, they joined Gravitas as a Senior Research Analyst, successfully transitioning the research desk to the company from Investance.

Jasmeet then joined JP Morgan as an Investment Banking Analyst, where they worked with Investment Directors on evaluating potential merger and acquisition opportunities in Asia. Jasmeet built financial models and supervised the work of other analysts.

Currently, Jasmeet serves as an Associate Vice President - Investment Research at Linedata. Jasmeet generates and researches ideas for a US Long/Short Equity fund, prepares financial models and valuation models, and provides investment recommendations to the CIO across sectors.

Throughout their career, Jasmeet has demonstrated strong analytical skills, expertise in financial modeling, and the ability to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients and colleagues.

Jasmeet Singh, FRM has a comprehensive education history. Jasmeet obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Commerce and Economics from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics in the years 2004-2007. Following that, Jasmeet pursued an MBA in Finance from NL Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research in Mumbai during 2008-2010. In 2011, they attended GARP-US to achieve their FRM certification in Risk Management. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate in 2022, the Corporate Sustainability - Understanding and Seizing the Strategic Opportunity certificate in 2021, and the Advanced Valuation and Strategy - M&A, Private Equity, and Venture Capital certificate in 2019, all from Coursera.
