Jamie Buck

Jamie Buck has a diverse work experience spanning over several positions and companies.

Most recently, Jamie worked as a Senior Software Engineer at LineLeap since April 2023. Prior to this, Jamie held the same role at Drizly from August 2019 to March 2021 and later held the position of Senior Software Engineer from March 2021 to March 2023. At Drizly, Jamie played a crucial role in launching an incubator team and implementing various projects that had a significant impact on the business's bottom line.

Before joining Drizly, Jamie was self-employed as a Freelance Web Developer from January 2015 to December 2022. During this time, Jamie developed cross-platform mobile applications, built websites using WordPress and static technologies, and created customized e-commerce solutions for clients.

Other notable roles include Frontend Engineer II at Wayfair from July 2018 to August 2019, Mobile Engineer at Dieta from October 2018 to March 2019, and Full Stack Web Developer at GraVoc from July 2016 to April 2018.

Jamie's early work experience includes being a Web Development Intern at University of Connecticut Communications from January 2016 to May 2016, as well as being a Student Educational Technology Assistant from November 2013 to May 2016.

Throughout their career, Jamie has demonstrated a strong expertise in software engineering, web development, and mobile development. They have worked with a variety of technologies such as React, TypeScript, Apollo, Rails, GraphQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Terraform. Jamie has also shown a proactive approach in seeking out opportunities to improve customer experience and develop automations.

Jamie Buck attended the University of Connecticut from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media & Design. In 2015, Jamie also had the opportunity to participate in a Semester Abroad program at the University of Technology Sydney. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jamie has obtained certifications in Non-technical Accessibility and Technical Accessibility from Siteimprove North America.
