Rick Leung

Rick Leung, CSCMP has a diverse work experience in various industries. Rick started their career as a Material Assistant - Co-op at L-3 WESCAM in 2004, where they assisted in the development of a new MRP system. Rick then worked as a Materials Assistant - Co-op at CFM Corporation - Majestic, where they generated weekly production schedules.

In 2005, Rick joined Makk Corporation as a Materials Coordinator, where they focused on materials planning and inventory control. Rick then worked at Nanowave Technologies as a Buyer, where they specialized in the negotiation and procurement of electronic components.

From 2010 to 2015, Rick worked at Tectrol as both a Buyer and a Supervisor, managing purchasing teams and overseeing SAP implementation and training. Rick then joined CUI Inc in 2015 as a Supervisor - Procurement & Planning, where they effectively procured materials and managed a team.

Rick's most recent role is at Lineman's Testing Laboratories of Canada, where they began as a Purchasing Manager in 2017, responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain processes. Rick then was promoted to Director of Purchasing & Business Systems, where they oversee purchasing and business systems for the company.

Rick Leung, CSCMP has a Professional degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Supply Chain Management Association - SCMA/SCMAO/PMAC, obtained between 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Centennial College, achieved between 2002 and 2005. In addition, they hold certification as a Certified Supply Chain Management Professional from SCMA Ontario, obtained in 2009.
