Nigel Currie

Nigel Currie is an experienced software developer with a diverse background in web development and technical architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer at LineTen since June 2017, Nigel previously held a position as a Web Developer at Northwind Trading Limited since March 2008, focusing on Coldfusion, PHP + MySQL, Drupal, and Joomla. Contract work as a Web Developer was completed at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer from March 2007 to March 2008, specializing in .Net development. Earlier experience includes a Technical Architect role at gfk nop from 2004 to March 2007, where web application development in .Net was a key responsibility, along with achieving an MCAD certification. Nigel’s career began as a Senior Developer at IMPS from 2001 to 2004, developing with Java, SQL Server, ASP, and VB, following a role as a Junior Developer at EDS from 1997 to 1999, working with Access and VB. Nigel holds an MSc in Optoelectronics from Queen's University Belfast, earned from 1995 to 1997.
