Kristine Engel, PE, has a diverse range of work experience. Kristine began their career as a Pro Shop Attendant at Morningstar Golfers Club from 2006 to 2009. In 2011, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center. Kristine then gained further experience as an Energy Engineering Intern at Franklin Energy Services, where they calculated energy savings and supported energy engineers in technical reviews.
In 2012, Kristine joined Kohler Co. as a Sanitary Product Engineering Co-op, utilizing the engineering design process for product improvements and serving as a recruiting ambassador for UW-Madison. Kristine also interned at Energoprojekt Entel, where they composed technical memorandums and evaluated energy efficiency retrofits.
From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Drilling and Measurements Field Engineer at Schlumberger, supervising drilling, measurement, and logging operations in remote locations and mitigating performance issues.
In 2016, Kristine joined Power System Engineering, Inc. (PSE) as a Line Design Engineer, designing safe and reliable transmission and distribution lines and ensuring compliance with safety codes and client standards using PLS-CADD. Kristine conducted field reviews, recommended routing, specified custom structures, compiled permit applications, coordinated labor bids, and developed construction plan sets.
Most recently, Kristine has been with LineVision since 2020. Kristine started as an Applications Engineer and was later promoted to Senior Applications Engineer.
Kristine Engel, PE has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they obtained in 2013. Kristine then pursued further education and completed their Master of Engineering in Sustainable Systems Engineering from the same university in 2021. In April 2020, they obtained their Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the State of Wisconsin.
