Sam Price

Sam Price has a diverse range of work experience spanning over a decade. In their most recent role as the VP of Engineering at Linewize ANZ, they have been responsible for leading engineering initiatives. Prior to that, Sam worked at BHP as a Principal Software Engineer. Before that, they held the position of Manager, Engineering and Development at both Family Zone Cyber Safety and familyzone.io, where they oversaw technical staff and development streams.

Sam also has experience in managerial positions at Groupon, where they managed the Dynamic Pricing team and later the Groupon To Go team. Sam has contributed to core business features and fostered a positive development culture. In previous roles, Sam worked as an IT Consultant at Power Systems Consultants, where they implemented major software development projects, and as a Senior Java Developer at BankWest, where they worked on risk systems.

Prior to that, Sam held Senior Developer positions at RBS and UBS Investment Bank, where they developed distributed systems and built a counterparty risk platform. Sam also worked as a Senior Java Developer at Barclays Capital, where they maintained and developed a real-time sales trade capture platform. Throughout their career, Sam has demonstrated expertise in software development, architecture, and project management.

Sam Price attended Hollywood Senior High School from 1993 to 1997. From 1999 to 2002, Sam pursued a degree in Computer Science, specifically a BCompSci (Hons), at The University of Western Australia. In 2014, Sam obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
