Tommy Tse

Tommy Tse is an academic with extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Amsterdam since July 2021, and as an Honorary Associate Professor in Cultural Studies at Lingnan University since July 2022. Prior roles include Assistant Professor at The University of Hong Kong from July 2014 to June 2021 and an Adjunct Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong for a brief period in early 2021. Tommy Tse has also held visiting scholar positions at UCL and the London College of Fashion in 2018, and was recognized as an Alibaba Global Dreamer that same year. Additional experience includes teaching at Central Saint Martins, Donghua University, and the Communication University of China. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Media, Culture & Communication and an MPhil in Gender Studies, Film & Literature, both from The University of Hong Kong, and a BA in Comparative Literature.
