John Lachance

John Lachance has a strong background in sales engineering and solutions engineering. John has worked for various companies in the technology and communications industry, including Lingo Communications, Impact Telecom, TNCI, Topaz Technologies, Vemics Inc., Covelight Systems, VCSI, First Virtual Communications, CUseeMe Networks, and En Technology.

At Lingo Communications, John worked as a Senior Solutions Engineer, starting in 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Solutions Sales Engineer at Impact Telecom from 2016 onwards, where they provided consultation and design for SMBs, commercial, and enterprise customers in Over-the-Top (OTT) VoIP, UCAAS, and telephony products.

In 2015, John worked as a Solutions Engineer at TNCI. From 2009 to 2015, they were a Senior Sales Engineer Manager at Topaz Technologies, where they engaged with product and project managers, developers, and implementation teams in an Agile development environment. John also presented to "C" level audiences.

Prior to Topaz Technologies, John worked at Vemics Inc. as the Director of Client Services, Systems Engineering, Project Manager, and pre-and post-sales technical support. John was responsible for event, training, and follow-up for customers of multi-point voice and video collaboration technologies. John also had expertise in multipoint/MCU and H.

In 2006, John worked as a Senior Sales Engineer at Covelight Systems. From 2004 to 2005, they were an Entrepreneur in Project Management at VCSI. John served as a Sales Engineer Manager and Project Manager at First Virtual Communications from 2001 to 2004, where they interfaced with clients and analyzed and diagnosed networks to meet their rich media communications needs.

Before First Virtual Communications, John worked as a Pre-Sales Senior Systems Engineer at CUseeMe Networks from 1997 to 2001. John provided pre-sales and support for video and VoIP multipoint solutions and trained customers and vendors in the use of desktop videoconferencing and collaboration technology.

In 1996, John started their career as a Systems Engineer at En Technology.

John Lachance attended Southern New Hampshire University from 1977 to 1981, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Management Information Systems, General. John has not obtained any additional certifications, specifically the Network + certification.
