Milen Epik

Milen Epik has over 30 years of experience in the field of linguistic technologies, globalization, software development, training, internationalization consulting, account management, and sales support. Milen began their career in 1988 as a Software Engineer at Microlytics, followed by a Software Engineer role at Xerox Palo Alto Research Center in 1991. In 1996, they became the Director of Internationalization Services at International Language Engineering. Milen then served as VP of Professional Services & Customer Support at GlobalSight/Transware from 2000 to 2004, bearing the responsibility for all customer-side deployments. In 2006, they founded Epik Global Solutions LLC (previously Epik Solutions), and served as its President and Founder. Milen also served as Division President and Founder at Translations.com from 2006 to 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Business Consultant at RWS Group, and is currently VP of Globalization Solutions and Services at Lingoport since 2022.

Milen Epik completed a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Computer Science from Boğaziçi University in 1982. Milen then went on to pursue a MS in Computer Science and Natural Language Processing at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, which they completed in 1986. Milen also attended ACI, though there is no further information given about this institution.
