Before that, Hazem held the position of Acting Director - Products & Services, Digital Media at Mobily, Saudi Arabia's second-largest telecom company. Hazem played a crucial role in digital transformation and OTT, leading a team and coordinating the development and launch of new products. Hazem also managed campaign activities, created business cases, and provided leadership for the tender process.

Hazem's earlier experience includes working at Saudi Business Machines as a Project/ Product Manager. Here, they managed resources and team members for projects, supervised vendor relationships, and provided pre-sales support.

Hazem Khier obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. Hazem completed their degree between 2002 and 2007. In 2009, Hazem obtained the Cisco Certified Network Professional Voice (CCNP) certification from Cisco. Additionally, they received the Authorized SP Video Program for System Engineers certification from Cisco in 2008. Most recently, in February 2022, Hazem obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance.
