Rajesh Bux has a diverse work experience spanning several financial roles in different companies. Rajesh most recently served as the Chief Financial and Risk Officer at Link Africa, where they managed finance, procurement, and warehousing teams, raised capital, conducted full audits, and handled banking relationships. Prior to that, Rajesh was the Executive Strategic Business Officer at Liquid Telecom South Africa and the Group Head of Reporting UK at Liquid Telecom. Rajesh also held positions at Neotel as the CFO and GM of Financial Planning and Reporting, as well as at Peresys as an Accountant. Additionally, Rajesh worked at Clear Channel Outdoor as a Senior Financial Accountant and at Sheridans as an Assistant Financial Controller.
Rajesh Bux has a diverse educational background. In 1990, they completed their Grade 12 education at Dr AD Lazerus Secondary School, earning a Matric Exemption. Later, in 1999, they attended Damelin to study Network Engineering, completing a course in Computer Networks. In the same year, they also completed a course in A+ Support Engineering at Damelin, focusing on computer support.
In 2003, Rajesh enrolled in ACCA to specialize in finance. Although the degree name is not specified, they studied finance for two years until 2005.
Expanding their financial expertise, in 2019, they pursued various courses through Udemy Alumni. Rajesh obtained certificates in Financial Modelling and Valuation, Mini MBA, and CFA Level 1 (2019) specifically in Financial Reporting and Analysis.
Continuing their finance education, Rajesh recently pursued the Certified Financial Officer (SA) degree at the South Africa Institute of Business Accounts (SAIBA), specializing in Finance and Financial Management Services. Rajesh is expected to complete this program in 2021.
