Marco Salerno has an extensive work experience in the technology industry. Marco began their career at Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated where they worked as an Ingeniero de Cisco from August 2008 to April 2014.
After that, they joined e2e Technology Solutions in April 2014 as a Senior Voice Engineer - Technical lead. In this role, Marco provided technical leadership and guidance in designing, implementing, and updating voice and wireless solutions. Marco stayed with e2e Technology Solutions until November 2019, during which they also took on the position of Technical Manager & SME. In this role, Marco guided the technical team, helped with pre-sales processes, and actively participated in all phases of service development.
In December 2019, Marco joined LinkAmerica. At LinkAmerica, they initially worked as a Solutions Architect, where they provided support in pre-sales meetings, analyzed business problems, and proposed solutions to project stakeholders. Recently, they have transitioned into the role of a Technical Sales Specialist. In this role, Marco is responsible for lead generation, leading the sales process, advising customers on product usage, and conducting demonstrations, training, and presentations.

From 2001 to 2003, Marco attended CTP Jesus Ocaña Rojas, where they studied Técnico medio en programación de computadoras.
From 2014 to 2017, Marco pursued an Associate's degree in Computer Science at Universidad Estatal a Distancia de Costa Rica.
Subsequently, from 2017 to 2020, Marco obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same university.

- In October 2014, they became an Implementation Specialist UC through Mitel.
- In December 2014, Marco received the Implementation Specialist Contact Center certification from Mitel.
- In August 2018, they obtained the Cradlepoint Certified Network Expert certification from Cradlepoint.
- In October 2016, Marco earned the Cisco Certified Network Professional Collaboration (CCNP) certification from Cisco Networking Academy.
- In February 2015, they became a ShoreTel Certified Support Engineer-UC, certified by Mitel.
- Most recently, in May 2021, Marco completed the Full Stack and Mobile Development Bootcamp offered by Nucamp Coding Bootcamp and received the CompTIA Cloud+ ce Certification from CompTIA.
