Shirish Chandrakar

Shirish Chandrakar has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Starting in 1997, Shirish worked as a Systems Analyst at Exante Pte Ltd. In 1999, they moved to Barclays Capital where they held various roles, including Head of Japan Equity Derivatives Trading and Trader in Japan Equity Derivatives Trading. Shirish was responsible for PnL and risk management as well as expanding client franchise and deal flow in the equity derivatives business.

In 2011, Shirish co-founded Sun and Sands Capital Company Ltd., where they provided strategic consulting services to Japanese companies for India entry and advised Indian companies on raising funds and sourcing technology from Japanese investors and strategic partners.

From 2012 to 2016, Shirish co-founded and served as the Managing Director of Right Click KK, a consulting firm providing business and technology consulting services to the financial services industry in Tokyo and Asia.
