Mika Tarvonen

Mika Tarvonen is an experienced mechanical engineer and designer with a robust career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at LINK Design and Development Oy since April 2022, Mika is also the Founder of Peicon since November 2016. Prior experience includes positions such as Chief Mechanical Designer at Nextfour Group and Mechanical Design Engineer at PerkinElmer, focusing on newborn screening instruments. Additional notable roles encompass Senior Design Engineer positions at Microsoft for Lumia phone mechanics and Nokia, where Mika led projects in smartphone mechanics and accessories, including Bluetooth headsets. Early career includes mechanical engineering roles at Elcoteq Design Center, Flextronics ODM Finland, and ED-Design Ltd. Mika holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Turku University of Applied Sciences and completed a program in Future Excellence at Turku School of Economics.
