Ralph Linkous has a diverse work experience, starting in 1984 as an Electronics Technician in the United States Marine Corps. Ralph worked as the head of Marine Corps Automated Test Equipment Systems until June 1991. From 1996 to 2001, Ralph worked as a Research Assistant and Electrical Engineer Instructor at North Carolina State University, where they conducted various measurements and coordinated interconnect thermal measurements. Ralph then transitioned to the field of education, serving as a Secondary Mathematics Educator in the Wake County Public School System from April 2003 to August 2011. During this time, they taught multiple math courses and also served as an assistant coach for the football and wrestling teams. In 2011, Ralph joined Mathnasium - The Math Learning Center as a Lead Instructor, providing math instruction until September 2012. Since October 2012, they have been working at Link Engineering Company as an Electrical Project Engineer, designing and documenting electrical systems for Brake Dynamometers and precision test equipment for international markets. In this role, they collaborate with various departments and personnel to develop quotes, designs, and specifications for LINK Equipment.
Ralph Linkous earned their Associate of Science (AS) degree in Pre-Engineering from Coastal Carolina Community College, from 1991 to 1993. Ralph then went on to North Carolina State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 1993 to 1995. Ralph further pursued their education at North Carolina State University and completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 1996 to 1997.
