Sreya Tolety

Sreya Tolety has a diverse work experience that spans multiple companies and roles. Sreya is currently working at Link Logistics as the Manager of Data Science & Energy, a role they started in January 2023. Prior to this, they were an Associate in the same department at Link Logistics, starting in June 2021.

Before joining Link Logistics, Sreya worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University. In this role, they assisted Professor Azadeh Sawyer in conducting the graduate studio for the Advanced Construction Studio in Spring 2021. Sreya introduced computational tools related to building performance and energy analysis and facilitated their implementation during the course.

Sreya also held multiple positions at Carnegie Mellon University in 2020. Sreya served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Building Physics course and the Environment, Form and Feedback Studio. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Manufacturing Futures Initiative, where they conducted material science and robotics research in partnership with ExOne.

Earlier in their career, Sreya worked at Interface Engineering, Inc. as a Building Performance Intern. Sreya was responsible for facilitating energy analysis and projecting future climate-change weather data for impact assessment of architectural projects. Sreya also developed scripts for energy analysis and simulation using Grasshopper-Python.

Sreya's earliest recorded work experience is as an Architect at Studio Slip. During their time there, they handled the design and execution of retail projects, public spaces, and modular structures. Sreya also worked on exhibition/set design and large-scale branding projects.

Sreya Tolety completed their High School Diploma in Computer Science at National Public School from 2009 to 2013. Sreya then pursued a Bachelor of Architecture degree at Visvesvaraya Technological University from 2013 to 2018. Following that, Sreya enrolled in Carnegie Mellon University and obtained a Master of Science degree in Sustainable Design from 2019 to 2021.

Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Energy Procurement Professional (CEP) from the Association of Energy Engineers in September 2022, LEED AP Building Design + Construction from the U.S. Green Building Council in September 2020, and LEED Green Associate from the U.S. Green Building Council in January 2020.
