Scott LaFoy is an experienced professional in the outdoor advertising industry. Scott started their career in 1985 at Peterson Outdoor Advertising in Orlando, FL, where they worked as a Sales Account Executive and Real Estate Representative. In 1989, Peterson Outdoor was acquired by POA Acquisition Corp (POA), and Scott LaFoy became the VP/General Manager of the Orangeburg SC Division. Scott then moved on to hold various roles within POA, including VP/General Manager of the Myrtle Beach Division and VP/General Manager of the Chattanooga Division. In 1996, POA was acquired by Universal Outdoor, and Scott continued as the Regional Director, overseeing divisions in Chattanooga, Memphis, Dallas, Myrtle Beach, and Evansville. Scott later joined Clear Channel Outdoor/Eller Media as the Regional President, responsible for divisions in Chattanooga, Atlanta, Memphis, and Myrtle Beach. During this time, they were also the President/GM of the Chattanooga division. In 2000, they briefly worked as Executive Vice President/Corporate Secretary at Peterson Broadcasting Corp d/b/a Radio Albany. In 1999, Scott LaFoy founded their own outdoor advertising firm called LaFoy Outdoor Advertising, where they served as President/Owner until 2015. Scott then became the General Manager of the Chattanooga division at Fairway Outdoor Advertising until 2018. Currently, they are the President and CEO of Link Media Outdoor, where they are leading the company's mergers and acquisitions efforts.
Scott LaFoy obtained an A.A. in Liberal Arts from Brevard College (NC). Scott then pursued a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Political Science and Business at the University of Central Florida.
