Mario Chaves

Mario Chaves is an experienced technology executive and advisor with a diverse background spanning several decades. Currently serving as an LP/Advisor at Savia Ventures and a Strategic Advisor and President of the Americas at Encora Inc., Mario has held significant leadership roles, including CEO and Co-Founder of Avantica, and CTO at Babcock & Brown. Mario's extensive experience also includes positions as Director of Engineering at Intuit and Software Publishing Corporation, as well as Project Manager at Sequoia Medical Systems. Mario's technical expertise began as a Software Engineer at HP and culminated in the creation of Harvard Graphics. Mario Chaves holds a BSEE and MSEE in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis.
