Ali Hooshmand

Ali Hooshmand has extensive experience in machine learning and search technologies, currently serving at LinkedIn since September 2019. Prior to LinkedIn, Ali worked at NEC Laboratories America, Inc. as Senior Research Staff from August 2018 to September 2019, and as Research Staff from January 2013 to July 2018. Academic credentials include a PhD candidacy in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston (2010-2013), a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Control Systems from Sharif University of Technology (2005-2007), and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Power & Water University of Technology (2002-2005).
