Bill Shander

Bill Shander is an experienced information designer and educator with a diverse background in media and data visualization. Starting as an Associate Editor at Institutional Investor in 1994, Shander was instrumental in launching the Private Asset Management newsletter. For nearly three decades, Shander has collaborated with clients at Beehive Media on various information design projects and conducted workshops on data storytelling. As a LinkedIn Learning Instructor since 2015, Shander has developed multiple courses aimed at improving data presentation skills. Additionally, Shander has served as a Lecturer at the University of Vermont, focusing on "Data Visualization and Communication," and has taken on advisory roles with the Data Visualization Society. Shander holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder.
