Frank Shyu

Frank Shyu is an accomplished Engineering Manager specializing in Machine Learning with a strong background in leading teams and projects at prominent technology companies. Currently, Frank serves as an Engineering Manager for the Feed AI team at LinkedIn, focusing on enhancing the relevance and engagement of the LinkedIn feed. Previously, at TikTok, Frank played a pivotal role in expanding a machine learning team from 2 to over 50 engineers, addressing critical ML challenges within TikTok US. Before that, Frank managed the Ads Entity Modeling and Targeting Foundations team at Twitter, showcasing expertise in Real Time Bidding, Ad Tech, Ad Funnel Optimization, and Applied Machine Learning. Frank holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Taiwan University.
