Lavina Jain

Lavina Jain is a Principal Engineer at LinkedIn, where they lead initiatives across Data Infrastructure and manage cross-cutting projects, including streaming systems. Previously, they were a Software Engineer at Google, serving as Tech Lead for the Object Storage system, impacting external Cloud customers and various Google applications while driving significant revenue. Lavina began their career at Oracle, developing storage management algorithms, and gained early startup experience at Nimble Storage, contributing to high-availability data storage solutions. They hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur.
