Matthew Baird

Matthew Baird is a Senior Staff Economist at LinkedIn, where they lead the equity research program within the Economic Graph Research Institute team. They also serve as an adjunct economist at the RAND Corporation, drawing on over a decade of experience in econometric research focused on labor and human capital development. Matthew previously held instructional roles at several universities, including the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University. They earned a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
