Neil Pinto

Neil Pinto is currently the VP of Production Infrastructure Engineering at LinkedIn. Neil has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on databases. Neil started their career as an Oracle database consultant with PeopleSoft in 1997. In 2002, they became a senior database consultant with Agilent Technologies, where they were responsible for performance tuning, capacity planning, and support for Oracle manufacturing and supply chain applications. In 2004, they joined Yahoo as the Senior Director of Database Operations. Neil was responsible for running day-to-day operations of all revenue-generating database applications and data warehousing systems, including architecting, sizing, capacity planning, installation, and performance tuning of applications to support millions of advertisers. In 2010, they joined LinkedIn as the VP of Production Infrastructure Engineering.
