Shaoru Chen

Shaoru Chen is a professional with a background in electrical and systems engineering, having earned a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania. Experience includes roles as a Research Student at Harvard University and the University of California, Davis, focusing on medical image segmentation and fault-tolerant control, respectively. As a Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, Shaoru explored safe AI and learning-based control. Following this, a Post Doc Researcher position at Microsoft involved generative AI and reinforcement learning projects. Currently, Shaoru serves as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at LinkedIn.
