Yang Zhang

Yang Zhang is a Machine Learning/Deep Learning Research Engineer with five years of research experience, including two published papers at top ML conferences and a filed patent. Yang worked as a Senior Research Engineer at Yahoo Research, redefined Face Recognition technologies, and developed a system currently in use at Verizon. Prior to that, Yang served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Rice University, contributing to significant publications. Currently, Yang is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at LinkedIn, focusing on Ads Marketplace Optimization, and previously worked at Snap Inc. on Ads Signal projects. Yang holds a Thesis Master of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Computational and Applied Mathematics from Rice University.
