Yi-Wei Lin is currently involved in anti-abuse and scraping at Google and has a rich background in software and security engineering. They previously held positions at LinkedIn, including Software Engineering Manager and Staff Software/Security Engineer, where they focused on data quality and anti-abuse efforts. Prior to that, Yi-Wei worked at Cadence Design Systems and Apache Design Solutions as a Principal Software Engineer and Principal Engineer, respectively, specializing in placement, routing, and power integrity analysis. Yi-Wei also has extensive academic experience, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UC Santa Barbara, alongside obtaining both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from National Chiao Tung University.
