Yu Gan is an AI modeling and data infrastructure architect with extensive experience in machine learning and deep learning. They served as a Technical Consultant at Altran from 2011 to 2013, focusing on system assessment and testing. Yu worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Drawbridge, where they developed a graph-based algorithm for large-scale community detection and built data ingesting and ETL pipeline infrastructure. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Platform Engineer at Google, establishing data platform infrastructure. Currently, as a Staff Software Engineer at LinkedIn since 2017, Yu has developed multiple generations of Named Entity Recognition AI models and is involved in NLP-focused services.
