Jana Udovenko

Jana Udovenko has held a variety of roles in the media industry since 2009. Jana began their career as an Intern at Radio Skonto, where they were responsible for finding and translating news from English to Latvian and publishing them on the website. In 2010, they took on the role of Customer Service Representative at the Latvian National Opera and Ballet (LNOB), where they were responsible for answering customer questions and booking tickets. In 2011, they became a DJ at the indie music bar Bar I Love You. From 2013-2017, Jana held a variety of freelance roles, including Freelance Writer for Intro.lv, Freelance Writer for Gimme Indie, Student Reporter and Assistant Editor at University Post for Københavns Universitet, and Freelance Writer for Low-Fi. In 2016, they became a Customer Success Coordinator at SOUNDBOKS, and in 2017 they held both the role of Customer Support Lead and Account Manager at Linkfire.

Jana Udovenko obtained their High School degree from Riga Secondary School No. 49 in 2007. Jana then went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Science from Latvijas Universitate in 2010. From 2011 to 2012, they attended Aarhus University and studied Cognitive Semiotics. Jana then obtained a Master's Degree in Communication Science from Latvijas Universitate in 2012. Finally, they obtained a Master's Degree in Film & Media from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in 2016.
