Martine van de Gaar has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Their most recent position is as the Co-Founder and CEO of Linksight MPC, a TNO spinoff company that specializes in creating data-driven insights from shared datasets using secure multi-party computation (MPC) and blockchain technology. Prior to this, they worked at TNO as a Senior Project Manager Data Science, where they led projects focused on data analysis with new technologies such as blockchain and multi-party computation. Martine also had a role in ensuring data interoperability and scalability of products. Martine has experience in project management and data analytics, having worked at companies such as Capgemini Nederland, Ahold Nederland, Philips Lighting, Maxeda DIY Group, Cargill, AkzoNobel, Essent, and NedTrain. Their responsibilities ranged from managing SAP HANA implementations to leading agile business and maintenance IT projects.

Martine van de Gaar pursued their education at Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Bsc) degree in Food & Business. Following this, from 2003 to 2005, they attended Wageningen University & Research, specializing in Master Management Economics en Consumer Studies, earning an Ir degree.
