Victor Othon

Victor Othon has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the technology field. Victor began their career in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as a Computer Systems Specialist from 1997 to 2001.

After leaving the military, Othon joined the private sector and worked for Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Functional Area Analyst and Systems Administrator from 2002 to 2005. In this role, they administered and configured Windows Active Directory domains and provided system administration support for the Defense Message System.

In 2005, Othon joined Management & Engineering Technologies International Inc. as an Enterprise Exchange Administrator. Victor was responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining MS Exchange 2003 Organization for the Army CONUS. Victor also consolidated multiple independently owned Exchange organizations into a single centrally managed organization.

In 2007, Othon started working at NCI, Inc., where they held multiple roles. Victor served as a Principal System Engineer from 2007 to 2013, leading the Army Golden Master Program Lab and Testing resources. Victor then transitioned to the role of Senior Systems Engineer from 2013 to 2015, where they focused on vulnerability scanning and assured compliance assessment solutions. From 2015 to 2018, Othon served as a Subject Matter Expert, providing operational and technical engineering support for NETCOM Enterprise capabilities. Finally, from 2018 to 2020, they served as a Functional Area Expert, overseeing the development, release, and support of software products.

Most recently, Othon has been working at Link Solutions, Inc. since 2020 as a Functional Area Expert and Software Release Manager. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the development, release, and support of AGM and SysMan software products.

Throughout their career, Othon has demonstrated expertise in software release management, system administration, and enterprise technology solutions.

Victor Othon began their education in 1995 at Pima Community College, where they pursued a degree in Computer Information Systems. However, they did not complete their studies at Pima and left in 1997 without obtaining a degree.

In 2005, Victor enrolled at Park University and studied Information & Computer Science. Victor remained there until 2007, but again did not complete their degree.

Throughout their education, Victor also obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field. In May 2006, they achieved Microsoft Certified Professional status from Microsoft. In May 2013, they became a Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator. Additionally, in February 2013, they earned the CompTIA Security+ ce certification, and in March 2015, they obtained the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner certification, both from CompTIA.
